To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience during the popular Horsetail Fall event, Yosemite National Park will require day-use entrance reservations for the last three weekends of February 2025. This unique event attracts thousands of visitors eager to see the waterfall glow orange at sunset. While this phenomenon is more likely to occur in late February, it is not guaranteed as it depends on atmospheric conditions.
Reservations will be necessary on February 8-9, February 15-17, and February 22-23 to manage traffic and protect natural resources.
For detailed information and to plan your visit, please see the National Park Service’s official page at NPS Horsetail Fall Event Information.
Yosemite National Park does not require vehicle reservations for any remaining dates in 2024. Details for accessing the park during other popular dates in 2025 have yet to be announced by the National Park Service. Stay connected with us, and we’ll share updates on 2025 park access as soon as they’re available.
