DOG FRIENDLY Wine Bar! From the owners of Oakhurst Feed & Pet Supply
Every vendor selling wine and beer to Yosemite Wine Tails donates a portion of their sales to a non-profit animal agency.
“Our business model is based on being animal friendly, also we are socially conscious. We used all reclaimed lumber and everything built was from hired local businesses. Having discovered Crossroads Lumber in North Fork was a true find. Utilizing and finding a purpose for beetle and drought killed trees was our mission. Our tables, displays, bar and wall décor are all made from this beautiful wood,” said Colette Goga, owner of Yosemite Wine Tails and Oakhurst Feed & Pet Supply.
The new wine bar, tasting room and private tasting room will serve and offer guests and the local community one of a kind California branded wine and beer that are not found in your local grocery store as well as local snacks and treats. For the canine friend’s, they will offer specialty dog treats such as cookies, cupcakes and a recirculating water fountain. Although they will have snacks, guests are welcome to bring their own food.
“The new wine bar and tasting room is a great addition to our community and for our visitors and local community. We are excited that our visitors that come with their dogs have a place to relax over a glass of wine on their trip,” said Therese Williams, Director of Public Relations, Visit Yosemite Madera County.
In the future, the new wine bar and tasting room will offer doggie birthday parties, dog wear and much more.
