More than a bike shop, we’re an experience! We offer bike rentals, Yosemite guided hikes and guided mountain bike rides.

In addition to being a full-service bike shop, we offer bike rentals, guided bike rides from the serene to the extreme and Yosemite guided hikes! Think of us as your one-stop location for anything bike-related, plus exciting hiking and biking adventures. 

We are conveniently located on Highway 41 in Oakhurst, California, just 15 miles from Yosemite National Park’s South Entrance. When headed north on Highway 41, we are in the strip mall just past the Smokehouse 41 Restaurant and across the street from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites. 

Bike Rentals:

Whether you want to ride challenging single-track trails or enjoy a scenic ride in the Yosemite Valley, we have the right bike for you!

We offer three types of rental bikes. 

• Regular bikes: Ideal for riding in Yosemite National Park and are rented on a 24-hour basis, so you don't have to return them the same day. 
• Ebikes: Perfect for exploring Yosemite or Sierra National Forest.
• Full-suspension mountain bikes: High-end mountain bikes are perfect for riding on dirt roads or the local, single-track mountain bike trails near Bass Lake. (You can also rent bike racks and helmets).

We offer a fantastic, family-friendly ride with a short hike to a hidden waterfall and swimming hole. Our single-track mountain bike rides are ideal for intermediate to expert mountain bike riders. During our rides our guides will talk about the area's rich history and flora and fauna. 

If you do not have your own bike, we have a large selection of rental bikes. 

Pedal Forward Bikes & Adventure operates under a US Forest Service special use permit in the Sierra National Forest. In fact, we are the first bike shop to be awarded this permit to operate guided rides in this area of the Sierra National Forest.
